Intermediate surfers can consistently catch waves and make turns, demonstrating recent surfing experience within the current year.

What you’ll learn:

- Paddling beyond the whitewater to the “outside.”
- Positioning yourself when catching waves
- Methods to angle your surfboard for a smoother takeoff
- Maneuvers to surf high on the wave face and cutback turns

Those who are advanced surf many times a year in multiple wave types and conditions.

What you’ll learn:

- Speed creation utilizing compression and extension
- Bottom, top and cutback turns
- Positioning for takeoff on steep waves
- Transitioning your surfing from long board to short board
